I Saw Bambi at the Fort Lee Historic Park!

Hey Beautiful People! If you follow me on Instagram, you know I’ve tried to shake this funk I’ve been in lately. Besides checking my food, water, sleep intake — usually getting some fresh air and embracing Mother Earth is the next best thing. Thankfully there’s no escaping nature living in the Garden State and I wouldn’t want to. Seeing greenery and wild animals everywhere can make a boring Wednesday very exciting and effortlessly bring a smile to my face!

If you’re ever in the North Jersey area, there’s amazing lookouts all along the Hudson River …

But, this was my first time discovering the Fort Lee National Park with these dope views of the GWB!

Per the website, the Fort Lee National Park is a “33-acre cliff-top park area with scenic overlooks and a reconstructed Revolutionary War encampment” and is “immediately south of the George Washington Bridge.”

Corny but cool!

Corny but, cool part two!

& we saw Bambi!

Actually we saw Bambi and her entire family taking a stroll and catching a free meal. Deers these days are so used to humans, it’s can be kind of scary. So many of their trees and homes have been chopped down or destroyed due to storms, they are showing up more and more in fields and our backyards looking for food sources. Always keep your “Awww” at a “cute” distance. Once Bambi gets the buckin’ … buh-bye!

Fun Fact : I hate driving over bridges. When I have to, you’ll find me in the middle lane. No, I’m not afraid of heights. Just bridges. Lower level. Always!

All in all, it was a fun day in the neighborhood. Walked around a few times, met some animal friends, took some cool pics, caught the breeze and most of all, left feeling refreshed! It was a good day at the park!

What are your favorite parks or nature obsessed places to visit? Leave a comment here and let me know! I’m always on the hunt for cool … or corny places to discover.

until next time …

xo,

STACi P.
